The Sheila McKechnie Foundation was established in 2005 to inspire and support a new generation of campaigners. To mark our 10th Anniversary, we’re holding a very special awards ceremony at the House of Lords in February 2015, recognising campaigners and their impact across a wide range of fields, such as environment, transport and social justice.
The Sheila McKechnie 10th Anniversary Campaigner Awards are a celebration of people who demonstrate their commitment to and effectiveness in tackling the root causes of injustice and inequality, be it over the last year or over many years. Whether on a local or national basis, they are people who have brought about lasting change within their communities or more widely.
