Marcelo is an activist in London Citizens, a diverse alliance of active citizens and community leaders organising for change. London Citizens have run high profile London-wide campaigns against poverty that have secured policy change and shifted the policies of London employers. Marcello is originally from Bolivia and initially worked in London without receiving pay. He took action with his colleagues and the support of London Citizens and secured back pay. He has helped to develop the London Citizens Workers Association which intends to educate workers in London on employment law, in partnership with national trade unions. London Citizens are also campaigning to extend the London living wage nationwide.

The Foyer Federation
Louise is Campaigns Officer at The Foyer Federation. Foyer delivers a service to young people at risk, providing accommodation, job training and support to enable them to escape the ?no home, no job? cycle. Building on the real concerns young people living in foyers, the Federation is campaigning to convince the Government that young people should be able to study full time and receive housing benefit. They believe that this policy change will help young people realise their full potential.
