Judith is Policy Officer at Friends of The Lake District is campaigning to promote sustainable transport and tourism. She is influencing authorities in Cumbria to proactively find different ways to promote sustainable travel, contribute to local people?s well being and health, reduce traffic congestion and work towards combating climate change.

Barbara is an activist with Leonard Cheshire. She is campaigning for increased availibility of accessible transport for disabled people in Cumbria. Together with her local MP, Tim Farron, they lobbied Stagecoach to provide an accessible bus service, resulting in the first accessible bus in Cumbria. Barbara is continuing her campaign to lobby for more routes throughout the region.

West Berkshire Spokes

William campaigns with West Berkshire Spokes to increase the number bicycle users within West Berkshire, and reduce the usage of cars. West Berkshire Spokes represents the views and needs of local cyclists and collaborates with other organisations to secure better facilities for cycling locally. As a result of their success West Berkshire Spokes are consulted about new highway schemes and planning applications.
